Resorts Casino Working With Knife & Fork Inn Owners on New Restaurant for 2021

New Restaurant Coming to Resorts Casino, Atlantic City

Resorts Casino Hotel is partnering with the Dougherty family to introduce a new dining concept in Spring 2021. Owners of Dock’s Oyster House and the Knife & Fork Inn, the Dougherty family are respected restaurateurs in the Atlantic City area. Details are slim, but the new restaurant will highlight fine dining, featuring a classic steakhouse, raw seafood bar, and live entertainment. The addition will join Resorts’ many other dining spots, including Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville, Capriccio Italian Restaurant and Mukashi Sushi Bar.

Cupcake Carnivale, Moorestown

Cupcake Carnivale opened in Moorestown in mid-November It’s been a long journey to establishing a storefront. Founded by pastry chef Jeffrey Jimenez, this bake shop has operated out of a food truck since 2012, and used a kitchen in Princeton to bake goods. The new storefront features freshly baked cupcakes every day, each one packed with unique flavors, like Angry Orchard Apple, Caramel Pumpkin, Banana Fluffernutter, Fruity Pebbles and more. Although the storefront is up and running, Jimenez’s mobile cupcake truck is still available for private and corporate events.

Crepe N Shake, Haddonfield

Opened in early fall, Crepe N Shake serves sweet and savory crepes, as well as milkshakes stacked with all kinds of treats. This spot allows you to build your own crepe, choosing from an assortment of meats, veggies and cheeses for a savory treat, as well fruits and sweet sauces for a dessert style crepe. Their creative milkshakes are piled high with toppings, like the Cake Shake (topped with an entire slice of cake) and the Cookie Monster (served with two M&M cookies on the side). Open Tuesday-Sunday, 8 am-8 pm. Takeout only.

Füdgarten, Fort Lee

This new organic eatery has serves all its dishes with free-range chicken and grass-fed beef. Open for lunch and dinner, their menu ranges from sandwiches like the SoCal (chicken with bacon, fresh guacamole, romaine and homemade ranch), burgers served with wasabi-ginger sauce (the umami burger), and delicious grain bowls like the Aphrodite (served with quinoa, butternut squash and topped with a creamy pesto). Open Monday-Saturday, 10 am-9 pm, for takeout, delivery, and dine-in. Closed Sundays.
