Two Newcomers At Hudson Lights in Fort Lee

The latest openings and closings.

New Jersey’s blueberries have started to come into markets statewide and, with the Fourth of July just around the corner, you know that means sweet corn will be at farm stands soon, too.

What else is sprouting? New restaurants. Over at Hudson Lights in Fort Lee, there are a couple of new projects in the works.

A new Bean & Bean is planned for the complex at 2030 Hudson Street. The pastry cafe is an offshoot of Bean & Bean in New York City. Expect sweets and more three meals a day.

In addition, another New York City favorite—Mamoun’s—will be coming to Hudson Lights. Name familiar to you? It’ll be a branch of the venerable Greenwich Village falafel house.

Also in the works:
Hibachi & Grill Supreme, 8101 Tonnelle Avenue, North Bergen. Asian cuisine, in the former Marco Tutta locale. 201-662-1888.

Sarku Japan, 190 Passaic Avenue, Belleville. Lunch and dinner. Bar service. 201-991-2145.

Reilly’s Rib Cage, 49 West Church Street, Bergenfield, is expanding.

Habit Burger, a relative newcomer to the national chain game, is planning a new eatery in Cherry Hill.

That’s Amore, in Manalapan.
Town Craft Burgers, in Englishtown.
