Welcome To September’s (Restaurant) Forecast!

There's lots of delicious munching on the horizon.

We’ll start with something that opened late last month: Wasu Japanese in Watchung. Lunch and dinner is served at the BYO located at 720 Somerset Street. It’s a classic sushi-plus-cooked-fare spot. 908-841-1600.

Now, here’s an update on the Momo Group’s project at The Grove West in Shrewsbury: Albarino, which will extend the group’s (Teresa Caffe, Mediterra, Eno Terra) reach well beyond the current Princeton environs, has been hiring kitchen staff in anticipation of opening early in October. There’s now a phone number and a Web site to go with the address of 4 Patterson Avenue at Broad Street: 732-852-2640; albarinorestaurant.com.

Coming this fall:
