What’s New And—Coming Soon

A new outpost for a well-loved wine store, and more.

One of New Jersey’s leading arbiters of taste in the realm of artisan wines, brews and spirits is bringing her expertise—and bottles—to Morristown.

Sharon Sevrens, proprietor of Amanti Vino in Montclair, will open a second shop in early 2018 at 60A South Street in the county seat of Morris.

Sevrens opened the original Amanti Vino 12 years ago and established herself as an innovative retailer and educator in the beverage world.

The Morristown store will be modeled after the Montclair shop and will also sport custom-built shelving and a décor Sevrens describes as “playful,” with a “welcoming vibe.”

Sevrens has received wide acclaim, including being cited by Food & Wine magazine as hosting one of the country’s 10 best online wine shops at amantivino.com.

“We take great pride in choosing the very best wines at all prices from around the world,” Sevrens said. “My goal is to have great wine for everyone, from the everyday consumer looking for superb quality at low prices to the most serious collectors of some of the most sought-after cult wines.”

Sevrens will continue her work with local chefs and restaurants to create food-wine pairing dinners through the Morristown shop. She also—as the only approved and practicing provider in New Jersey of the Wine and Spirits Education Trust curriculum—will offer classes in the new store that lead to WSET certification.

Amanti Vino/Montclair is located at 30 Church Street. For more information, call 973-509-9463 or visit amantivino.com.
