Within walking distance to the beach and bay, this family-friendly motel is centrally located on the island. Rooms and efficiencies are large and freshly renovated, post-Sandy. High-season rates: $179-$219.

The Sea Shell Resort & Beach Club

This oceanfront resort and beach club has its own private beach and pool. There are three dining areas: the outdoor Palm Grill, the indoor Palm Tree and the popular Tiki Bar (open all day and night from 11 AM to 2 AM).
