Jen Carson is the chef/owner of Lillipies, 301 North Harrison Street (Princeton Shopping Center), Princeton (609-240-7738). Carson received a degree in restaurant management from the French Culinary Institute (FCI) in New York (since renamed the International Culinary Center).

CHRIS JAMES AND CHEF JAMES CORONA
Chris James, the former bar director of Jockey Hollow, is now the general manager at Blu Grotto, which has opened at 200 Port Au Peck Avenue (Monmouth Park), Oceanport (732-571-7900). Executive chef is James Corona, previously from Thyme Square and Sogno, both in Red Bank and Bocca in New York City.

MARTIN KESTER
Summit House, a seasonal American restaurant and bar, set to open later this year at 395 Springfield Avenue, Summit, has announced that Martin Kester will be their executive chef. Kester, a CIA graduate, was previously chef de cuisine at Ninety Acres in Peapack-Gladstone. He has also spent time in the kitchens of The NoMad in New York City, Elements in Princeton and Blue Hill at Stone Barns in Pocantico Hills, NY.
