Chef/owner Zod Arifai announced today that he will close his two lauded Montclair restaurants, Blu and Next Door, on August 30. "Montclair has been wonderful to me for the past 10 years," Arifai said in a press release. "We have some great eaters here who truly enjoy food, and it's been a pleasure cooking for them."

When I learned that Fu Restaurant opened in December, all I could think of is what would happen if someone asked me how the name is spelled. “F-U,” I would say and then could imagine an Abbott and Costello type of “who’s on first” conversation. You know where I am going with this, so let me tell you that FU means good luck in Chinese 'NUF said!
